ADMISSION Our Philosophy
WHAT WE BELIEVE

Contemporary Music Entrance-Exam Academy in Dongtan · YM MUSICEntrance exams
are a marathon.

You can't get results by sprinting briefly like in a short-distance race and tiring out easily. You have to take a long breath and be ready for a lonely fight with yourself.

YM MUSIC Dongtan admissions — a road symbolizing the long journey walked alone

The songs and instruments you began playing happily because you loved them often turn into a burden while preparing for exams. That's because things often don't go the way you want, and you often feel like you're hitting a wall.

So there are times you want to give up partway. The slump that visits famous stars visits you in exactly the same way.

YM MUSIC Dongtan admissions — a moment of exhausting slump
That's why the teachers at our academy are
not teachers who stand out in front,
but teachers who walk right beside you.
That is our educational philosophy.
YM MUSIC Dongtan admissions — standing together, arms around each other's shoulders
We show you from beside you where to go, and when we see you running and walking on your own, we walk and run along with you.
When you get stuck thinking it through by yourself, we open the way and show you what to do.
When you slow down, we slow down together; when you speed up, we push and cheer you on from behind.
YM MUSIC Dongtan admissions — the two legs of a marathon runner running to the end

This is who we are, as an academy.

We'll run alongside you
until the day you stand tall
as the person you want to be.
YM MUSIC Dongtan admissions — rejoicing with arms spread wide beneath the sunset

We cheer on you as you dream and make that dream come true!
